Wow, where has the time gone.. life has sort of just taken over it seems. I’m having a hard time with my last post being in February.. and we’re nearing the end of the year now…

Man I jumped back and found where we left off and boy did it come with a gut punch and tears. I’m going to try and navigate us back to the story of my mother, the strong wonderful woman she was. But bare with me.. 9 months is a long time to shut down. We took a bit of a side bar there while dealing with dad leaving the house, and believe me we will get back to that. For now I’ll say, were ok. I’m ok. He’s ok.

I do think my families story is important, I just hope I can do justice to the magic of the word family and what it meant to us..

Ok so now that I’ve got a little bit of footing back, the next chapter is well… brain surgery, for the second time. Add in a little drama, a little celebration and a lot of gratitude…

I’ll be back, and it wont be 9 months..
